Oasis Compassion Agency is Tax Exempt by the authority of the IRS and has obtained 501(C)(3) status for income tax purposes.

Mission Statement

Oasis Compassion Agency is committed to showing God’s love in practical ways by addressing the physical and spiritual needs of the poor/needy in central Palm Beach County. We work with clients to identify roadblocks to success, devise a plan to overcome them, and act on that plan. Oasis meets clients at their point(s) of need through its food pantry, clothing ministry, the opportunity for Biblical and mental counseling, and, through the Career Center, formulating a plan to help clients take the steps that will enable them to stabilize their economic circumstances.

Sharon A. Gill, CEO of the Oasis Compassion Agency, served as the Chief Executive Officer of the law firm of Gill & Associates from 1997-2003. During her tenure, Mrs. Gill steered the firm to record growth and recognition in the local business community. Among the many awards captured by the firm under Mrs. Gill’s leadership, was the 2003 Minority Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year which was won on the local and regional level. Mrs. Gill was also featured in a National Advertising Campaign by Office Depot, Inc. during 2003. Her passion for leadership and education is evidenced by her commitment to her staff, volunteers, her community and her own personal development. In July of 2002, Mrs. Gill was one of the recipients chosen to attend a week long Minority Business Executive Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

She was recently elected to the board of Crossroads at Palm Beach Community College. She is the recipient of numerous community awards including the Giraffe Awards, Local Heroes Award sponsored by Bank of America and the Martin Luther King Leadership Award sponsored by Palm Beach State College. Mrs. Gill is married to her husband Wayne of 22 years and has two children. Her life scripture is Ephesians 3:20.

Sylvia LeeSylvia Lee, Chairwoman

Sylvia Lee is in business with her husband, Jeff. She is the co-founder of Connection Outreach, a 501c3 non profit organization that performs acts of service in Haiti, Peru and other parts of the world.


Peter CookPeter Cooke

Peter Cooke received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He received his Juris Doctorate degree (Cum Laude) from Nova University in 1992, where he was a member of Law Review. Mr. Cooke was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He joined Adams, Coogler, Watson, Merkel, Barry & Kellner, P.A. in 1993, becoming a shareholder in 1999.

Peter practices in the areas of professional liability, including medical and legal malpractice, premises liability and trucking liability.

Linda Allen

Linda Allen

Linda Allen, Co-Owner, Curves Fitness franchise and a Bridal Shop. She is a licensed Realtor and Mortgage Broker. She serves as a Trustee of Delray Community Missionary Baptist Church.


Dr. Georgiene Morgan

Dr. Georgiene Morgan is the mother of Jolande and Demetri. She is an educator with Palm Beach School District and serves in several capacities in the Children/Preschool Ministries at Boca Glades Baptist Church.

Paul Turk

Paul Turk is a former trial lawyer who practiced with the Gunster, Yoakley law firm in West Palm Beach. He retired from the practice of law on March 31, 2009 to pursue a career writing novels. Paul is a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington and is also a member of the Stetson University College of Law Board of Overseers.
